Refunds and Returns Policies - Online Shop

1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure, and
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and
  • Repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This policy is in addition to your rights under ACL.

2. Change of Mind Returns

  • We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Once we receive and inspect the item, a refund (minus shipping fees) will be processed to your original payment method.

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described:

  • Please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
  • Provide your order number, description of the issue, and photos where possible.
  • We will cover return postage costs for faulty/damaged/incorrect items and offer a full refund, exchange, or replacement.

4. Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Gift cards, downloadable digital products, or workshops/tickets.
  • Clearance or sale items marked “final sale.”

5. How to Lodge a Return

To start a return, please email us at: [email protected] with the following details:

  • Your order number
  • The product(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return
  • Supporting photos (if applicable)

We will respond with return instructions and next steps.

6. Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed via the original payment method only.
  • Allow up to 10 business days after receiving your return for funds to appear in your account.
  • If you paid by credit card refund processing times may vary depending on your provider.

Refund Policy - Workshops and Online Courses

Digital Products & Online Courses

  • Due to the nature of digital content, we do not generally offer refunds once course materials, downloads, or workshop recordings have been accessed.
  • If you have not yet accessed or downloaded the course materials, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

Workshops & Events (In-Person or Online Live Sessions)

  • Cancellations by Attendees: If you are unable to attend a workshop, you may request a refund up to 14 days prior to the event. After this period, refunds are not available. However, you may transfer your booking to another participant by notifying us in writing.
  • Cancellations by The Crafted Image Academy: If we must cancel or reschedule a workshop or event, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or a transfer to a future session of equal value.

Defective or Incorrect Purchases

In line with Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product or service you purchase is:

  • Faulty,
  • Not as described, or
  • Does not perform as advertised.
