Welcome to The Crafted Image Academy online store - Refunds and Returns Policies.
At The Crafted Image Academy, we want you to love your purchase.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, please review our Returns Policy below.
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to:
- A replacement or refund for a major failure, and
- Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and
- Repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This policy is in addition to your rights under ACL.
2. Change of Mind Returns
- We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
- Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Once we receive and inspect the item, a refund (minus shipping fees) will be processed to your original payment method.
3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described:
- Please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
- Provide your order number, description of the issue, and photos where possible.
- We will cover return postage costs for faulty/damaged/incorrect items and offer a full refund, exchange, or replacement.
4. Non-Returnable Items
For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Gift cards, downloadable digital products, or workshops/tickets.
- Clearance or sale items marked “final sale.”
5. How to Lodge a Return
To start a return, please email us at: [email protected] with the following details:
- Your order number
- The product(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
- Supporting photos (if applicable)
We will respond with return instructions and next steps.
6. Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed via the original payment method only.
- Allow up to 10 business days after receiving your return for funds to appear in your account.
- If you paid by credit card refund processing times may vary depending on your provider.

Refund Policy - Workshops and Online Courses

Welcome to The Crafted Image Academy Workshops & Online Courses - Refunds Policies.
At The Crafted Image Academy, we want you to feel confident in your learning journey with us.
Please read our Refund Policy carefully, as it applies to all purchases made through our website Learning Centre.
Digital Products & Online Courses
- Due to the nature of digital content, we do not generally offer refunds once course materials, downloads, or workshop recordings have been accessed.
- If you have not yet accessed or downloaded the course materials, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.
Workshops & Events (In-Person or Online Live Sessions)
- Cancellations by Attendees: If you are unable to attend a workshop, you may request a refund up to 14 days prior to the event. After this period, refunds are not available. However, you may transfer your booking to another participant by notifying us in writing.
- Cancellations by The Crafted Image Academy: If we must cancel or reschedule a workshop or event, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or a transfer to a future session of equal value.
Defective or Incorrect Purchases
In line with Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product or service you purchase is:
- Faulty,
- Not as described, or
- Does not perform as advertised.
